Dr. Shirin Farhadian graduated from dental school 2013. She is a general dentist and also is a Board-Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Farhadian has been involved in basic and clinical research and has published several articles in the field dentistry and bone tissue engineering. She has presented her clinical work and research nationally and internationally. In one of her advanced research projects, she studied over 2500 patients with gum disease to evaluate the synergistic effect of smoking and diabetes mellitus on treatment of these patients. She is an active member of many professional associations including American Academy of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, and Dental honor society.
