Parkville Animal Hospital is here to treat the dogs and cats of Baltimore, MD, and surrounding areas. Our services include wellness exams, sick visits, vaccinations, microchipping, health certificates, nutrition and weight management, boarding, euthanasia, x-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, parasite testing and prevention, in-house pharmacy, laser therapy, dentistry, surgery including spay and neuter, mass removal, exploratory surgery, gastrointestinal procedures, acute and chronic pain management, and more! We are open six days a week and look forward to meeting you and your pet!

Did you know we offer dental services? Periodontal disease erodes the supporting structures of the mouth, which is very painful. In this process, harmful bacteria is created, and can spread through your dog or cat’s bloodstream to their internal organs, causing serious health issues later in life. This is why it is so important to have a veterinary team that helps you with regular cleanings, other advanced dental work when necessary, and can educate you on proper at-home care.

We also check for dental disease during our physical exams, which is about much more than just bad breath - but your pet’s complete overall health! Oral bacteria puts pets at risk for painful teeth and gums, and more serious issues like organ damage.

At Parkville Animal Hospital, our technicians are trained to hold our patients for exams so that pet's feel as safe and comfortable as possible.

This sweet girl is being prepped for her dental surgery.

More than half of the teeth are below the gum line, so it's not surprising that most dental disease is found below the gum line too! To make up for what cannot be seen during a visual exam, we've invested in dental x-ray technology.

Our staff is trained to capture the dental images needed to assess our patient's mouths for any possible concerns.

We keep wait times to a minimum. If there is a short wait, have a seat in our comfortable and bright waiting area!

We carry a variety of pet foods and products that can conveniently be purchased in-house.
