After seeing a Boise carpet cleaners offer for them on Living Social, I went to their Meridian, Idaho website and saw that they were listed with the Boise, Idaho Better Business Bureau (A+ according to their own Boise carpet cleaners website) and on Angie's List. So, after reviewing their various packages, I settled on their gold package, which was $149 (plus tax) after their $50.00 discount on their gold and platinum package for three rooms and a hallway (traffic areas only). However, they overcharged me by $10.00 when they wrote up the ticket. Their Boise carpet carpet cleaner technician showed up and after taking one look at the traffic areas in the master bedroom/bath, said that he would not be able to get it very clean, and when he was done, it was maybe 10 percent cleaner than it was before he started. What bothers me the most is that he put no effort and very little time into cleaning our carpets. He put down the pre-treatment, and spent, at most, 30 minutes with the machine cleaning in all three rooms! He was packing up less than an hour after he arrived. What's more is that the technician said it would take four hours for the carpets to dry. It took 48 hours of having the a/c turned down several degrees and having the ceiling fans turned on full blast before the carpets were dry enough that we weren't getting our socks wet when walking on them. I have a brother-in-law who used to work as a Boise carpet cleaner and he said that they never spent less than two hours on a project of the same size, and that if the carpet still looked that bad, they would have put down another pre-treatment and other cleaners and gone over it again. He also said that the fact that it took so long to dry proves that they spent no time sucking out the water from the carpet. I have gotten the carpets more clean using a rug doctor when cleaning my carpets, for a few hours and that was one-fourth the price I spent on this company's "gold" package. I could understand if he had put some actual effort and made more of an attempt and the carpet still looked bad, I could accept that. What bothers me is that he put no effort or time into it and didn't try treating the high traffic areas with additional treatments. If your looking for a carpet cleaning serivce in Boise or Meridian, Idaho. I would suggest going with somenoe else.
